If a child who is transported to and from school by a Local Authority taxi wants to do an after-school club, do the parents need to make other arrangements to pick the child up after the club, or can the LA pick them up at a later time?
We are hoping to get P into a specific lower school locally, and they offer several after-school clubs. She already does quite a lot of activities in the evenings, but it may be that she will want to do a club or two at this school. The school isn't that far from home, so i am more than happy to collect her from school after club if necessary, but just wondering if the council normally makes arrangements for children to be collected after clubs, or if its normal hometime without exceptions. It seems a bit unfair if thats the case, as presumably many children wouldnt get the chance to do an afterschool club.
