I use weight on my ankles and wrists when I run, they are great, I'll do a quick work out with light weights a few times a week. Ive been slacking since ive been at home, am back at it big time as the jeans were getting tight and my mental well being wasnt doing so good. Muscle has memory and it can spring you back pretty quickly even if you've sloped off for a few weeks, so far this week ive lost 2lbs but more than that, my stomach is starting to feel the tone.
Well done on the 2lb loss I knew about muscle memory, it's a great thing!! Although I think a week is the most I've ever had without hitting the gym. Apparantly 1 week off sets you back 3 weeks in terms of fitness levels..or so I was told. Not sure how much that's true though.
Id cut running down to 3- 4 times a week, but now Im going back to 5 days a week and pushing myself further. Just been finding it hard to get to the gym since being back at home, there isnt one near us, so my gym is 40 miles away. Finally getting back into it properly, have booked a pump class and a spin class, for this week, plan on doing one of each every week and back at circut training with the OH so I know i'll work hard at that one.
Ah I love circuit training but our gym doesn't do it anymore :( I love Pump too, thankfully there are tons of Body Pump sessions each week so I can usually get to a couple..and there are loads of spin classes as well. Though I loathe spinning..sometimes I do a class just to mix things up a bit and give my body a shock, usually half way through I'm thinking "WHY?". I get no pleasure from it at all lol.

Im not fond of spin either but after Im done I usually feel as though Ive worked myself properly, even if I am ready to fall off the bike at the end lol.
Have cut out bread again, I love it but its my biggest weakness and bloats me badly.
Feeling much better now Ive been able to go for a run every day this week.
My slendertone arrived, not a good idea to try and where it while you run, ouch. But it does seem good, will give it the full 8 weeks and hopefully i'll see some difference on my abs lol.
well I am still with WLR not loosing all that much but toning up nicely.
I have easy tone trainers for walking and zigs for running and the gym.
Weight the now is 12st 4 and a bit.
Need to get back into the exercising as I have been very lack in that department.
So onward's and upwards I say.
Ooh I have zigs too, they are pretty good huh? Glad you are getting back into it Dolly, I never get out of it. I swear exercise is the only thing that stops me putting weight back on cos I still love my food as much as ever lol.
Im not losing any weight, completely toned again and have lost inches. Not surprised as af is back after 2 years, so at least I havent put any on but only because Ive been extremely careful about what I eat.
Make a food diary before you eat write down what you are eating, why you're eating it and how you feel, I swear by it.
That's what WLR is Jacx you count the calories of EVERYTHING so you stay within your range for that week.
Yesterday I ate 2500 in calories but burnt 3000 if that makes sense. I was just over my calories by 46 so not bad there then as I was eating out.
My calorie intake the now is 1700 and exercise calories. I am thinking of reducing it to 1400 plus exercise. I maintain on period weeks as I hold water. So not bad all round eh?

Id no idea how af would effect me as its been so long, but Ive forced myself to run, still managed 2 body attack classes and one spin class, I couldnt bring myself to go to another spin class this week as the cramps are that bad and I just didnt want to put myself through it lol (good excuse). Hoping once it goes I can shift a few pounds, Ive put 1/2 a stone on since I quit work so it has to go.
