Beth's new trick

Sorry it's a bit long, can't get the hang of clipping videos, but this made me laugh today (apologies also for my guffawing in the background!).

Brilliant so cute - I love that stage and had to laugh at your older one getting in there too bless him.

That is by far the cutest thing I've seen in ages! What a couple of stars (and did I notice the cat making an appearance too?). My sides are aching, half laughing and half cooing - my OH is going to be so jealous after what he thought was his oscar-nomination vid of Fin...........

Can Beth marry our Finlay, please? I think they would be a very nice couple indeed.

Your children are both adorable. He obviously adores her, it's lovely to see.

Aw, thanks. I don't think I've ever posted a photo on here, let alone a video, but the one of Finlay inspired me to share it! Definitely up for the arranged marriage. What beautiful grandchildren we would have! But a couple of caveats. Firstly, I'm a feminist and don't agree with the tradition of the brides' parents paying for the wedding (except when it comes to Sam's wedding, obviously). Secondly, I'm not letting Beth move miles away to Scotland. How would I be an interfering mother-in-law if that were the case?

ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a skint feminist, I believe in the kids paying for their own bloody weddings. As for where they live - well, there IS the internet, facebook, twitter, mobile phones. He'll probably run away from me as soon as, anyway.

You'd be Fin's MIL, though - you wouldn't be a problem. Girl's mothers are far better at letting go than boys' mothers are, IME. I will be the nightmare mother - I'm the boy's mother, no contest. I shall be constantly checking his whereabouts, daily calorie intake, and whether he's being looked after when he's 47.

Feckin' hell, how scary do we sound?!!!
