I have just taxed my car. Brace yourselves for the next time you have to do this.

£134.75 for six months - and £245 for a year!!!

I tell you, I'm going to buy a bicycle.

Doesn't it depend on the size/emmisions of your car?

(For a year, mine went down from 120 to 110 :> )

Jason's car costs £425 a year to tax. Its official CO2 emission rate is something like 2g/km over the limit. Bl**dy thing....

The stupid little broken Smart Car cost £90 a year to tax.

Huge difference between Corris' £245 and £90. Does make you wonder. No doubt it is supposed to!!

My citroen c3 only costs £20 per year which is great as we have another car and were dreading the cost of running two cars but the low tax really helps.

Get yourself a smoby car. Cheap as chips to tax, and a tank of fuel lasts ages.

I think the Fiat is quite cheap, but DH's 4x4 is offensive.

I don't even know what that is OA.

And it HAS made me think - although I think OH's truck is even more. I didn't realise some cars were so cheap.............. nothing that fits six kids in though I'll bet.

well, no. Mine is a three door, it has back seats, but Alex is, really, too big for them now. He can go in the back at a push, but mainly we use the back for the mogs cat carriers.

But then, I don't need a bigger car, so it suits us perfectly.
