I have booked 7 days in devon for the easter holidays,im looking for things to do,now i have looked into woodlands theme park and also crealys theme park, and splashworld quaywest, anyone know any other places? or nice places to eat,or have you been to these places and reccomend them?

No idea love but how fantastic, am really pleased for you and hope you have a super time
There's a water park - Quay West I think... we didn't go but it looked good.
There's a nice little railway centre (model railways, small trains for riding, etc) that the little one will like. Woodlands is brill. I'll try to remember where else we went!
The biggest problem we had in Devon was the traffic, but that was AUgust - hopefully Easter will be a lot better.
My in-laws are in Ashburton - on the edge of Dartmoor.
Pennywell was lovely

Certainly enough to do for up to 10 ten year olds (go-carts are for over 8s)
The Plymouth Aquarium is incredible and also has an indoor play labyrinth (small one) and some other activity areas so it's not just walking around staring at tanks!
Have yours ever been letterboxing?
You crawl around the rocks of the moor looking for plastic lunchboxes hidden in holes - sign the book, use the rubber stamp there in your own book (you need a book or blank postcards etc. and an inkpad plus a pen with you ....) There are advanced ways of doing it - books of clues, map grid references etc. but for children you can just park up at a famous set of rocks with good parking and you can guarantee to find 5 to 10 boxes ... Bonehill Rocks, Hay Tor, etc.
There's a Steam Railway quite near to Ashburton ...
The River Dart Country Park looks good to me.
There is a Shopping Village type place called Trago Mills that has a manic but very cheap inside shop - warehouse type and size but well laid out - and lots and lots of small independant shops and stalls around the courtyards which are also filled with children's activity type attractions ... There's a little train to ride on, remote control cars, dodgems I think? Mine have been too young to do much other than stare so far but I think there is plenty there for a day out. (We tend to dash in to be something cheaply and therefore bypass all the attraction type stuff but they do look quite good of their type!)
Hope that helps!
Helen
That leter box thingy sounds fun, Helen! Don't think I've ever seen anything like that before.

Exeter is a great town to visit, it has underground passages below the city with guided tours. Definitely recommend Dartmoor, the walks around Datmouth, Salcombe and south Devon are fantastic, all depends on where you are staying, but Devon is fab that's why we live here!!! Take it slow.
Which bit of Devon? We were in Croyde last year (North Devon), and I can highly recommend 'The Big Sheep'....yes, it is as mental as it sounds....
