Dust down the bikini and crack open the sunscreen!

 That blasted Jet Stream is set to move north at last!

Personally I've believe it when i see it.

Got a 21st party BBQ on Saturday night so if the weather can cheer up for then it would be a start.

Also am thinking of booking a 4 night break for myself, OH and the dog when we have a week off next month so some sunshine would be most welcome.

And I swear, if we do get sunshine and blue skies if I hear just one person moan "It's too hot!".  I will punch their lights out.  (Miss Poppins exepted)

I'm getting one of these this year;

That would be the one on the right, obviously....

Bahaha Nigella looks like a liqorice allsort, the one shaped like Bertie Basset!

I can't wait for the warm weather, it's timed perfectly to coincide with the end of Olly's school year, too, hurrah!

My bikini is lying out having just been washed. We have no sunscreen though as we binned it before we came home. We had several open bottles some of which were on the 24 month expiry but I wasn't sure which ones so I binned the lot.

Do you really wear a bikini Elaine? I've finally given in and bought a couple of swimsuits for this summer, because DH says I'm too old for bikinis now. I might wear one on the school run, just to really upset him.

I have a couple of tankinis. I am too big up top to be comfortable in a proper bikini.

It's warm here (21.5 degrees) even with the rain, so the sun can shine but I don't want it to heat up anymore

OA you're the same age as me and I still plan on wearing a bikini, I'm definitely not ready to do the whole swim suit bit, well still busting everything I have to make sure I've toned everything I can before the holiday.
Its been a miserable start to the school holidays here.  While I've give up expecting sun in summer I'm not ready for the cold that came with it this year.

I've never been a bikini girl  -  now I have two teenage daughters flouncing around in them I am even less likely to stand anywhere near them in revealing clothing...... I do however have a tankini - perfect for the older overweight woman, quicker bathroom access without having to dislocate your own shoulder in anger to remove the dreaded wet cossie :)

I may have mentioned I am going camping on Sunday - several times - for two weeks.  I hope the rain lands further north and Everything south and west of london is beautiful.

It can rain after I've returned home.

That is all.
