Goodness Leeds what a mad weekend, hope you have a lovely time though. And good luck to your DH for the run.
I agree with Daedy though, it's blooming freezing here. It's that tricky September weather where the skies are bright blue and the sun is shining, so you skip outside wearing leggings, ballet pumps and a flimsy summer jumper dress thing only to discover you're 3 minutes late for school and it's minus 80. Small stood outside in the playground stripping off and complaining he's too hot, little oddball!
I was supposed to be going pole dancing tommorrow night but it's cancelled [(
Seriously, it was a pole dancing birthday party at a local dance studio where you get a lesson and you can take your own booze but the birthday girl has done her back in and isn't really up to hanging upside down from a pole =)) Think we are just having drinkies instead but no concrete plans yet!
Going for a girlie lunch today though so it's all good. Working tommorrow booo!!! Cooking a Sunday lunch for the first time in ages on Sunday, looking forward to that.
Small off to school for the morning, then we're off to the farm this afternoon to feed some baby critters. I daresay we'll come home with a new pet; the last two times we visited this particular farm we've come home with a new cat, himself has threatened to sell them if we bring home another...
Tomorrow we're off out with friends and himself is golfing, then Sunday we're going to twin lakes for a friend's birthday party. A grown man wanting his party there; madness.
It's quite sunny in Surrey. Don't even need a coat.
I am going up to Doncaster this afternoon, for tonight's football. OH is flying in from Scotland, on a very tight time schedule, so I am meeting him in the seats. He is very stressed that I am going to get into trouble without his calming. sensible presence. I am not sure exactly what he thinks I am going to do!! Staying at a hotel in Donny, then back to Kings X on the 8;35am (urgh!) tomorrow morning, whilst OH goes north to do the Great North Run. I then have to pick DD up from school, as she is sleeping there tonight. DD and I then going shopping, as they have a disco with another school coming up ...............
Freezing here as well, and the weekend doesn't start until I leave work at 6:15 tonight!
Nothing on thie weekend, except a birthday tea on Sunday - will take the chance to sort out YS's bedroom and put some of his stuff back in there after decorating. Time to take out the changing unit he's been using as shelves and get him a proper cupbaord as well, I suppose...
Its quite a nice day here, no coats needed at the mo! Been for a tarot reading this morning and sat and chatted for hours about everything under the sun!
Cards were very positive which was nice.......
Not up to much over the weekend, quiet time at home with the kids......
just looked out the window and they're havesting the winter beans in the field next to our house.....think I'll complain to the council about the noise of the harvester!!!!! =))
We are offering one lucky winner 4 tickets for CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS, a new musical based on the music of Saint-Saens, which premieres at London's Riverside Studios in July, plus a pre/post-theatre meal for four at the Rainforest Café.
We have a series of four Skills Builders activity books for 10 winners. Each series is valued at £18 and winners can select the series they require (Year 3-Year 6).

I'm poorly again! *sigh* oh well, I can take comfort in the knowledge I am keeping toilet paper manufacturers in business.
