To add an avatar, click on your username to take you to your user account, then click 'edit' and scroll down the page and you'll find an option to upload your avatar. There's a 200k file size limit but your pictures will automatically resize.
You may need to force the page to refresh in order to view your new picture - just press Ctrl & F5 to do this.

I found it easy to add mine, but then changed my mind and wanted to change it!! I deleted my picture and then uploaded another but for some reason the original picture keeps coming back!! ?
I've logged off, logged back on, deleted again, logged off ......... etc etc...
AAAH!! It worked!! LOL! My new picture is above!!! Just shows my old one in my account details!! Excellent............. ok another question (probably a silly one) but where are the smileys?
In the reply box (where I'm typing now!) it says
Your name:
and then
Smileys
click there to choose the one you want to use.
Yes there seems to be a slight mix up if you have already uploaded a photo but hopefully it will be ironed out asap.
