These seem to be in all the shops at the moment - what do you think of them? Are they flattering to most figures, or are they yet another thing that should be left to the young, skinny and tall?

I have to admit to really, REALLY liking this;

Although I saw it in black with a leopard-print frill! I thought it would look nice with thick tights, or even leggings, and boots...

I bet they aren't at all flattering if you are fat. Like me. hence I have never tried one on, as I fear it would be too depressing.
On a more practical note, I bet washing them is a faff too.

I'm with Racey. I love them too with chunky tights and fab winter boots. All wrapped up warm and snug.

If your a bit on the larger side, wear them with leggings instead of tights. I think most shapes can get away with them tbh - as long as the dress is long enough and isn't skimming the bum! LOL

Perhaps I should try one on! I love them on other people, I just imagine that on me they would show every bulge ....................

I've just bought 2, one grey and one red. I'm a size 18/20 leeds & I look good in them. I end up with more leg on show in the winter then in the summer with tights and boots!! lol

I'm another fan. Next do beautiful ones that have a skirt/frill thong at the bottom. I'd assumed I'd look a plum in them but since my girth has increased with the walnut I've lived in mine. I love them with chunky tights and boots, I don't think they're exclusive to skinny folk; they seem to suit curves. If I'm feeling particularly plump I wear hold-it-in tights.

I have seen some bigger ladies in them and they look great. My sister is a good size 18/20 and she looks lovely in them.

I was saying to DH earlier that I had a lovely woolly dress when I was about 10. It was cream and had blue and pink shapes on it. I was a plump child (and now plump adult) and it lookwed fine.

They look nice I could be tempted
