Just thought I'd share with you a little experiement I conducted the week before last.

My OH loves fish and anything fishy but he sometimes complains we don't have it often enough so I thought "Right, I'll show him!"

Wed, he had salmon fishcakes
Thurs he had scampi
Fri he had provencal fish soup (which was minging btw)
Sat he had morrocon fish stew
Sun he had fish in batter
Mon he had smoked haddock
Tues he had cod fishcakes

The experiment somewhat backfired on me as he has yet to comment on his week of fish dishes, however he hasn't asked for fish since so perhaps is silence is saying more than words could? /:)

Wonder how long it will be before he dares ask for fish again!

BTW, what did you have each night??

It will be interesting how long he goes without asking for fish again!

I'm not sure I could AFFORD all that fish! Although Smoked Cod Loin is on offer at Morrisons, and we are in for fishcakes again tomorrow (second time this week).

Corris, everything was on offer. The Scampi was buy one get two free at Morrisons so we have plenty left Smile The fishcakes fwere from Sainsburys and the smoked haddock just £2 for 3 large pieces.

I had the scampi, the smoked haddock and the soup but on the other nights I had something else, can't remember what now!

I have to confess that most of what we eat is on offer these days!
