Just a flying visit from me in between the feeds to say that baby Edgar Maximus (Eddie) also known as The Titman in the family and I are back at home.
Instead of a decorously planned entry into this world on Monday Eddie decided that enough is enough and made a dramatic appearance on Sunday evening. He is even bigger than my firstborn son at 4,610kg so he definitely wins a competition who's the heaviest baby in the family. Glad I didn't have to push him. The op went well..., but it will take me a while to recover.
My poor baby had to do a few blood tests to check that he didn't have an infection (as my waters broke and I didn't realise it), then for jaundice. The hospital ward is the worst experience. I banned all visitors but my husband, but the others had people coming non-stop 9am to 9pm, tut tut. At some point the girl next cubicle had around 12 people crammed in there.
The big brother is not amused, especially when Eddie screams demanding his food RIGHT NOW in the night.
To mark the launch of the Little Heroes competition, Wacky Warehouse is giving lucky parents the chance to win a Wacky Gold Card worth £100, which entitles one child to a year’s free play. If that isn’t enough, they are also giving you the chance to win a voucher worth £50 from Fayre & Square - so grown-ups and kids can enjoy some delicious food and recharge their batteries after all the Wacky fun. We have two Wacky Warehouse Gold cards to give away.
From the series that inspired the forthcoming movie Seventh Son, the penultimate installment in the chilling and best-selling Wardstone Chronicles by Joseph Delaney. We have six copies of Spook's Alice to give away, worth £9.99 each.
