On Saturday we went out walking, we were on a canal side and Mack was bounding along a little bit ahead of us very excited as we'd never taken him round there before. There was a garden on the other side of the hedge and we could see lots of squirrels running around the trees at the bottom, one minute I was looking at squirrels and the next I was looking at Mack coming bombing into view and then he sat at the bottom of the tree looking up for them. The daft dog had only cleared a barbed wire fence. He'd obviously spotted them too and the temptation was just too much, he had found a gap in the hedge then jumped the fence. He has got two scratches down his chest, thankfully only very surface!!! I dread to think really.

Glad his not seriously hurt Ursh! I bet he was very excited at the sight of squirrels! x
Beside himself, though it's not the first time he's seen them. We wend on a woodland walk a few weeks back and they were all over, that was the first time. Ever since then he looks up at trees with hopeful expression on his face

Ahhh lovely pup! Hope he's learned his lesson about barbed-wire.
Bob once got his head stuck in a fence, you know those ones with large-mesh? He was arguing with a sheep and, well, lost the battle when the sheep walked off!
dog are daft at times arent they and I'll bet he is milking it for all its worth too.
