There is going to be an 'evening celebration' including pop concert at a park near me. I've already applied for (free) tickets for it, but won't find out if we're successful for a couple of months.
It looks as if the torch will go in a big loop around my town (Luton, Dunstable, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Aylesbury, Whitchurch) -all those places are within very easy reach, so i am sure Dh and P will be able to go and see the torch go past.
I, however, have absolutely no interest in watching someone jogging around carrying a tin-foil stick - in fact, I think the whole Olympic thing is a great big farce and I am NOT INTERESTED. I think its an appalling waste of money, I don't think there will be any 'lasting benefit for the community' after the Games are over and i think trhe governing body is corrupt.
it passes near me about 8.40 when it reaches Conwy and then goes off to Deganwy so will make sure I am on a late so I can see it go pass as it is within walking distance
I kind of agree with BFG, but the very patriotic part of me will put all those feelings to one side in the hope of Team GB winning us some medals and the feeling of national pride it brings (would love it if we had a Union Jack smiley..!) Hypocrite and proud.
I will go see the torch, just to say I've seen it. It's going along the prom here on 22nd June
Enter the magical world of the Lala-Oopsies™ in a brand new movie starring all new characters. We have ten copies of the DVD to give away, worth £9.99 each, plus each winner will also receive one mini Lalaloopsy doll.
Following the Famous Five 70th anniversary celebrations, another classic Blyton series gets a brand-new look for today's readers with illustrations from the ever-popular Tony Ross. Each Secret Seven set contains seven books in total, and we have three sets to give away worth £41.93 each!
It goes past the bottom of my road.

So I've got to be in Shrewsbury for 11.40 amon 30 May in order to see my nominated torch bearer, day off already booked!
And 30 June to see it near my home, although might be overseas then.
Oh Kis, I do hope you get to see your lady! Have you been in touch with her much? She must be sooooo grateful to you for nominating her.
