I've not been on as much as usual lately so forgive me if this has already been discussed but if not, some of us did the picnic day last year but our kids in Scotland were still in school, this year was thinking we could make it when all our kids were off, not sure when your kids down South break up for hols but ours break up the 2nd of July so anytime after that suits us, who's up for it?

Thought maybe for those of us in Scotland we could make it Princes St Gardens in Edinburgh??

Lovely idea to do it again Ev.

For anyone new to the site, we made a date, planned to picnic on that day no matter where were were, some of us met up, some were on holiday but it was a day we could all do and enjoy and make believe we were togeather.

Love that you remembered Ev. Big smile

Yeh me too hence the picnic day, thought it would be a fairly inexpensive day and it'd bring us all together, the kids could have fun just running round with a ball, cricket, tig whatever!

In our area, schools break up on 23rd July.

Come on you Scottish lot get yer tuppence worth in, if Edinburgh's no good suggest somewhere else, that was just the biggest park I could think of for all the kids to go mad in.

Oh I loved the picnic meet last year. I'm sure it was in August last time wasn't it?

If I can make it this time round I will do, but I am due on the 25th July so might struggle. Would love to do it again though.

I would have loved to have met up. Edinburgh is only 20 mins on the train. But we are off to Majorca 10 July --- then we move to Staffordshire Smile So will be too far away.
