but my 20 year old text me earlier to say he was on his way to A & E as the earpiece from his headphones at work had snapped and was stuck in his ear!! Poor lad - he had to spend 2 hours in A & E waiting for someone to pull it out (mind you it had gone in really badly, you could barely see it with the naked eye)
Pretty yukky job tbh - particularly when you saw the lump of earwax that was attached to it!! Gross - he wanted to take it back to work to make the people who laughed at him feel sick!!
Boys - they never quite grow up do they?

Yuck, I hate ear wax
Boys never grow up, they just seem to love grossing people out
Euuggghhhh!!!!!!!!! Sounds gross but not unusual for a lad eh?!?!?
Hope his ear ok now.
boys are always proud of their war wounds
OH Nicki I hope he's ok. poor lad.
I shouldn't laugh as well, poor thing! It reminds me of the time my niece shoved a bit of tissue up her nose. My sister asked me to drive her and we spent ages down at A&E. A few seconds before we were called my niece sneezed and the tissue shot out across the floor. Mind you, she was only about four at the time, not 20....
LOL!!!!
Dawn
=))
how deep in his ear did he shove the ear piece to start off with for pete's sake? What's the adage, don't put anything smaller than your elbow 'in' your ear?
erk. he'd probably have wanted to show it off at work if he was 40 lol.
Poor bloke - he is the butt of FB jokes amongst his mates - he'll never live this one down!!
What a dunce lol, how did he get it so far in anyway?
Saying that, my LO's dad gave himself an electric shock by sticking his tongue in an electric socket when he was young, well, i say young, he was 17 at the time... :$
He just took his headphones off and the earpiece sheared off - the doctor said you could see where it had snapped! It was in so far because someone at work tried to get it out so that he could carry on working with the minimum disruption!!
I think when they realised that it was the equipment not his stupidity they got a bit worried - his line manager was told to take him to hospital and stay with him until they knew it was all OK!!
