Having an indoor picnic later with the brats. But first I need to sort out the curtain pole in the boys room, it's hanging on by a thread after the curtains were used as a swing rope
Oooh Jacs thats not good, have to teach the monkeys to climb...lol
I didn't get up til 10! Me & the girl were at a BBQ last night first one of the summer. Had a great time.
So far this morning I've strimmed the edges of the garden, might cut the grass when it cools down later, its scorching hot here.
I am going to make a carrot cake later on, I thought YD wanted it for her birthday but shes said she wants a chocolate one.
Currently have YD & goddaughter here having lunch, they have been to the park with friends.
M&W have taken their picnic outside, I have still to sort out the curtain pole, but as I need help and hubby is working and the eldest has disappeared out I can't do anything - I did ask C but he went off on one
I hope you've got the curtain sorted out now, Jac.
We've had a good day. The sun came out this afternoon and it was really quite warm, which was good as it was the Party in The Park (free pop concert) in a local country park. Even most of the grass had dried out in time, so wellies weren't needed.
Church this morning and then an afternoon in the garden.
I came in from work on Friday and immediately told DH that I guessed his dad had been here. He is obsessed with cutting our grass and the trail of cuttings in my kitchen gave it away. My mum and I have spent this afternoon clearing up his mess. Who the h*ll cuts the grass that has grown over the path? We have now dug it out. He strimmed the edges but didn't lift the plants that have fallen over the lawn (they need dug out) so I had to deal with that too. GGGRRR.
To mark the launch of the Little Heroes competition, Wacky Warehouse is giving lucky parents the chance to win a Wacky Gold Card worth £100, which entitles one child to a year’s free play. If that isn’t enough, they are also giving you the chance to win a voucher worth £50 from Fayre & Square - so grown-ups and kids can enjoy some delicious food and recharge their batteries after all the Wacky fun. We have two Wacky Warehouse Gold cards to give away.
From the series that inspired the forthcoming movie Seventh Son, the penultimate installment in the chilling and best-selling Wardstone Chronicles by Joseph Delaney. We have six copies of Spook's Alice to give away, worth £9.99 each.

The curtain pole isn't sorted and I'm not a happy person
Elaine you are a saint or letting your outlaws have keys to your house
On this occasion DH let him in. They have keys so that they can deal with the mail when we are away and also for when DH locks himself out.
