OA I am so behind this year it's untrue. Parsnips are in, carrots are in but with all the rain they may well have just rotted rather than germinated, spuds are in but not showing, do spuds rot? But really not a lot else, and its covered with big tarps where I haven't dug over or anything. It's also a swamp at the moment so not much chance of doing owt!
I don't know what's happened, I was so organised last year. Well I do know what's happened, I've sat on my rump all winter rather than getting on with the digging!!!
Oh well, I'm growing lots of squashes, and squashes are fairly forgiving, I mean they grow so quickly that even if their patch is a bit weedy they don't die off, because they grow faster than the weeds do!
Took C back to school and thought I'd pop into the hairdressers to see when she could fit me in - that'll be now, so hair done, now all I need now is for my dentist to have a cancellation as I need to sort out my crown (part of it broke off last night) and for C to come home on the school bus and I'll have had a good day
Third load of washing in, and snuck out a little while ago to sow some borlotti beans, purple broccoli, green broccoli and basil in modules. There WILL be vegetables this year... lol have also just installed my SAD lamp on the top of the fridge to help the plants along, the natural light is of such poor quality I reckon they need all the help they can get!
Well it's not rained much here at all, guess we've been lucky. Mind you we don't have a hosepipe ban either!
Corris next time make sure you get plumbers who are worth watching in action, or at the very least turn up when it's raining lol. Glad to hear you've decided to take the job after all, silly lady who is leaving. I cant' see the sense in her being awkward with you?! Best of luck.
OA sorry to hear that George has been a poorly boy, he gets well soon and Alex too EB.
Been to circuits this morning then done a bit of work at home. Tomorrow I'm back to work (at the dry cleaners job) after a whopping 12 days off. I've not picked up an iron in all that time lol - it's going to kill me tomorrow :(
Have just signed up for a free online course, shame it hadn't started this week as I'd have had much more time for it!

We have two Wacky Warehouse Gold cards to give away.
From the series that inspired the forthcoming movie Seventh Son, the penultimate installment in the chilling and best-selling Wardstone Chronicles by Joseph Delaney. We have six copies of Spook's Alice to give away, worth £9.99 each.
