I would like to thank everyone for their input on tudor costumes. However sadly the trip is in grave danger of being cancelled as only a few parents coughed up the money for the trip and in this day of high petrol costs  it has to be justified wherever or not it is worth it.  It will be a disappointment to my daughter and her teacher if it does get cancelled.

Update  Due to the last minute push by the teachers The trip to Kentwell is on, but they did have to dip into the school funds.  It is so annoying as there was the option to pay in installments, but that was ignored by some parents who obviously did not care.  I always thought that school trips were an important piece of child education. But some think they should be free.

Well the trip has been and gone.  My daughter enjoyed herself. I would have put a photo to show her costume, but it is currently in my hubby's i phone and he has not downloaded any photos lately. Thank you for all the tips.  At least I have to wait for 5 years for my son to experience the tudors.

I'm glad she managed to go on the trip and enjoyed it.

Please do post a photo when you can.  Start saving now for your son's visit, lol.
