I meant trifles of information rather than puddings. I thought it sounded pretty!
Actually, I haven't eaten trifle for years. Must rectify that as soon as I can! I am not a great advocate of the home made tastes better theory (at least when I am the one home making it, lol), but I really do not like shop bought trifles. Especially ones that come in individual plastic pots.

I care how many calories were in your jammy dodgers - however I couldn't give a fig how many were in the cheesy ham roll with salad cream I've just eaten.......
Been working all morning, and it's sunny and lovely - now, about typing up that french assignment......
I blooming love trifle, but only home made stuff, the ones in shops are;
1) too small
2) weirdly plastic-y tasting
3) never made with enough booze
4) never custard-y enough
5) too small
Complaint over. Off to buy some gardening tat today, small merrily trotted into school and said goodbye, couldn't care less. I feel a bit surplus to requirements now!
Trifle. Bleurrrgh! What trifles of information were you hoping for Leeds?
OA glad to hear small is settled at school, I imagine his teachers will have some real laughs in the staff room over the things her comes out with..nothing too incriminating I hope lol.
I've just booked Ozzie in to have his plums off next Tuesday
Oooh poor pup, he won't speak to you for a few days
Olly has been really great at school, I keep expecting some form of breakdown but he's so calm about it all. We went to the farm on Friday last week and he saw a mummy goat with her two kids. He looked closely at her then said 'why has she got two willies?'. I explained they were teats, for feeding her babies, so yesterday he told Mrs C the classroom assistant that when mummy's baby arrives mummy will grow two willies on her tummy to feed the baby. Mrs C was howling when she told me after school, I dread to think if the nonsense he's going to tell them over the next few years.
=))
=)) I love hearing about him oa!

Well we've had a quiet morning and we're off out to the park in a minute
Someone is looking down on me - they know I have no washing machine and am washing everything by hand so miraculously (sp) the sun is beating down! It was foggy this morning
As for trifles - my nans was the best everytime lol x
I haven't had trifle in years.
Might have to rectify that sometime soon!
Mmmm trifle...
That's what I was thinking earlier, EB! May have to settle for a tin of custard though!!
I've just scoffed 3 jammy dodgers and I don't care how many calories are in them.
Shop-bought trifles are disgusting. My home-made trifle is lush and you can't drive for at least 90 minutes after eating it. Trifle HAS TO HAVE a layer of jammy swiss roll on the bottom, soaked in sherry (or madeira if I havent drunk it all, but i usually have), then a layer of bottled cherries, which might or might not be soaked in more booze, then some jelly (no booze), then custard, then whipped cream on the top. It HAS to be decorated with toasted almonds, glace cherries and angelica. Poo to sophisticated puddings!
God, I love trifle. I think i need to make it again soon.
