We've all left the house and forgotten our keys or our phone or our bag but a human being? Hmm, maybe not, but that's exactly what happened to Victoria Beckham recently when she was in such a rush to get her son to school that she left home without him.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, the busy mum of four admitted she was already half way down the road when she realised she'd left 13-year-old Brooklyn in the kitchen of their California home.

"I got up in the morning, and I knew that I had a whole morning full of conference calls," she said. "So I got up early with Harper, sorted Harper out, got all the kids their breakfast, got them ready for school, put Harper in the car seat, and said, 'Come on, kids, we have to get going or we're going to be late' - every morning I take Brooklyn, and David takes the little boys to school. We take it in turns because they go to two different schools.

I had to laugh when I read this one!  I thnk we are all guilty of misplacing a child at one time or other.   I left mine in Boots once, thankfully she was fast asleep in her pram and still there 5 minutes later when I remembered I her!

That's quite impressive. At least she remembered the baby...

I know someone who managed to get herself, her horsebox, all her beautifully-cleaned tack, everything, to a dressage competition right on time...and then opened the ramp of the lorry and discovered that she had forgotten to load the horse!

Brilliant! I left Olly in his pushchair asleep in a shop when he was a few days old. I got back to the shop a few minutes later and he was behind the counter being cuddled by a lovely lady.

And a few months ago I had to take all three cats to the vet for their boosters, I got Daisy & Timmy into their baskets & put them in the car, chased Fakey about the garden for 45 minutes, got him into his shiny new basket and promptly left him inside it on the kitchen table, got to the vet and turned the air blue with my sailor mouth. It took masses of smoked salmon before he forgave me.

Well no, at 13 it's hardly a major catastophe.  I think she is probably demonstrating that celebrities get 'baby brain' as well.

Who was this friend who forgot her horse then BFG?  Anything you'd like to tell us?
