The "Have you booked next year's holiday thread" made me think of this 'cos whilst I haven't booked any holidays I've got the following to look forward to:

Billy Connolly
Varekai
Weekend in Devon
Calendar Girls
Les Mis
Peter Kay
Don McLean

errrr probably can't afford a holiday after paying for that lot! LOL

Anyone else got anything they are looking forward to?

Agreed Ursh!

Corris - difficult time I guess but hopeyou get lucky!

Actually I'm looking forward to my daughter finishing 6th form and hopefully getting a full-time job 'cos that won't involve me whereas her education does. Sounds mean I know but I have my reasons! But I daresay her working ft will just bring new problems 8|

That the kids all find what they are looking for, 3 of them are moving on to bigger/different/better things they hope and that the other two are both settled and happy.

Main thing for me though is that DH's health improves a lot and that he can begin to move around and loose weight.

I'd give up the holidays etc for that.

Awww Polly I know what you mean. I'd give up my holidays and trips too if I thought it would make my daughter happier and healthier.

Davelisa - I bet that that legal adoption date can't come soon enough for you.

Davelisa that's such a fab thing to look forward to, I hope it comes around as fast and easily as possible for you all.

I'm looking forwards to getting married, not because marriage changes anything, I'm just looking forwards to my Dad giving me away because I know it means so much to him to be able to.

And Olly's starting school which will be a fab adventure for us all, and I can't wait because it's another step we've made together.

And I'm looking forward to seeing Frankie Boyle, because I have a ridiculous crush on him, it's roughly the size of Hawaii today.
