is your tree (artifical one obviously!! - the real ones only come in green!!)

I have lusted after a black tree for the last few years but always thought - can't afford it, the one we have is fine blah-de-blah. Anywhoo we were sitting in the office recently and one of the girls was saying that now she had moved in with her OH and he wanted a proper tree her one was going begging!! It was sitting in the garage at her old flat until she decided what to do with it - enter moi!!

So I am now the very, very proud owner of a gorgeous black Christmas tree for free (well a bottle of bubbly was exchanged for it!!)

This year, unfortunately it has the same old red decs we've used for years but come the sales I am getting some far more glitzy 'eat your heart out' decs in preparation for next year. Big smileCool

Mine are real ones but if I had a fake one I'd get a pink one, and I'd decorate it all pink too.

I'd rather have a black one than a white one, but mines green, cost a fortune as it does look real and I love it.

We have a green one. It's an upside down one so a bit unusual. DH got it last year in a sale.

I kept hoping there would be some upsidedown trees left in the sale last year so I could have one, but they were really popular
