That does sound very nice Jacqui!

Tonight it's spicy pork steaks, home- made wedges and potato salad (not home made but I guess I could of!)

Beef stir fry tonight with noodles, the sauce is ginger and garlic and I've opened the tube and it reeks!

 Did you get it?

Ours wasn't nice, no wonder the sauce was being sold off at 24p a tube!

I have some chicken marinating in the fridge now in 'Blossom Honey and Chilli Marinade'.   Here's hoping we have better luck tonight!

Think we'll have it with new potatoes and some veg.

We ate at PIL last night and MIL had made what she calls chilli except it had no chilli powder or peppers in it so it was really bolognese with kidney beans in it (some of the children even ate it with spaghetti). I roasted a chicken at the weekend so I am going to make a curry with the leftover meat for tonight. I think BIL and his DW are coming down (hopefully minus their DS) so I will make pakora and bhajis too.

Elaine that doesn't sound very nice (the non-chilli chillii I mean!)  The curry sounds much more flavoursome Smile

Some spicy beef kebabs for us tonight, with pitta bread and salad.

Also I have some mushrooms that need using up I was thinking I could fry them and then stir in some philly cheese with garlic and chives, do you think that would work?

ooo ursh those mushrooms sound lovely! - did they work??

We're having a bbq tonight, but the kids are moaning that it won't be as good as Grandpa's bbqs (my parents are on holiday atm) - but we're trying! I've got chicken marinating, minted lamb, burgers sausages etc and sil is bringing salads and breads.

They were okay soapqueen, not brilliant but edible.  Your tea from Sunday sounds immense!   Especially the dessert, step by step instructions please?

It's fishcakes tonight, with chips for fatboy and salad for us girlies.
