Secondary school is a very different place to your child's cosy primary, and the transition to year 7 is a huge milestone. The good news is that plenty of parents have been there before you, so you can benefit from their experience!

From choosing a secondary school to applying for a place and then accepting it (or appealing), we have lots of advice. You might also want to think about preparing for the first term, as well as Year 7 CATs. It's also good to familiarise yourself with what your child will be taught in their first year of secondary school in KS3 English, KS3 maths and KS3 science.
