She was in the cafe and John who is now working there suggested she made something of her life and went back to college. She went him and told he she'd thought about it and decided she wanted to be a Doctor but it would take years to train and cost a lot, she bascially tried to blackmail him into giving her 50k and she said unless he did she'd tell everyone he'd attacked her.
Her gave her a piece of his mind, called her a bitch (at which point I cheered out loud lol) and then she ran out the cafe screaming help...so now the cops have carted him off again!
Oh dear, just heard that the actress Maggie Jones who played Blanche has passed away. I shall really miss watching her, she was brilliant. The one liners and put downs were classic.
Yes, it's a shame about Maggie - Blanche was a great character - one of her last scenes (the other week, when she was drunk and telling the 'new grandad' about all the family skeletons) was brilliant!
I just can't stand the Rosie Webster actress. Like you say, she's just so hammy and can't speak her lines, she has to shriek them or over-emphasise it all.
i hope not,you know i dont mind gay people, had a few friends that are,but one thing i dont like is having it flaunted in your face, dont get me wrong i think its good that they can show it on telly which makes people more open minded than all the closed minds they had years ago,and it makes it more acceptable, but i hate seeing scenes of full on snogs and things, does that sound hypocritical?
Em yes it does actually Shaz? I guess they show enough hetrosexual relationships on tv, you wouldn't think twice about watching a scene with a girl kissing her boyrfriend eh?
Mind you the programme makers are hypocritical as well because they'll use it as a ratings boost by having it plastered all over the tv mags.
This reminds me of all that hoo ha over Brookie years ago and the first Lesbian kiss.

RIP.
It was fantastic, one of the funniest scenes she's ever done. A very fitting finale.
