Key stage: Year 6, KS2

Level 6 SATs were advanced level SATs taken by Year 6 children who were excelling in English and/or maths between 2012 and 2014. Under the new SATs system, introduced in 2016, there are no longer additional papers for high achievers. Instead, all children take the same tests, but they will include questions designed to let the most able children show their knowledge and skills. However, the old Level 6 papers can still be used to help your child prepare for SATs.

This pack includes:

  • English Reading Booklet
  • Reading Answer Booklet
  • Longer Task Writing Booklet
  • Writing booklet: Shorter and Longer Tasks

The test papers have been merged into one easy download for you.

You can also download the answers and marking scheme so you can look through your child's work and compare it with what teachers and examiners are looking for.
