Get the most out of your Primary Toolkit: 2-Year Subscription
Congratulations on your purchase of a Primary Toolkit: 2-Year Subscription. We think it’s one of the best decisions you could have made to support your child’s primary school education.
Here's what you need to do next.
Getting started
If you aren't already logged in, you can now do so in the top right-hand corner of this page. If you have any problems logging in, please email [email protected]
If you are not familiar with the site, start by watching our introductory video...
Explore the learning packs and workbooks
Head over to the Subscribers' area of the site and start browsing through our topic-specific learning packs and workbooks.
These targeted packs cover specific and core skills that your child will need to master during their primary school years. Each pack is over 50 pages long and includes information for parents as well as practical activities to help your child master every aspect of this tricky subject.
Whether you want to check your child's learning is on track, help a child who is struggling or even give your child a head start in a certain topic, you can relax in the knowledge that you'll be able to find a relevant learning pack or workbook on the site.

Start your child on a personalised learning programme
Every Wednesday you'll be sent our exclusive Learning Journey email, direct to your inbox.
Each weekly email will:
- Contain links to download two worksheets – one for maths and one for English – for your child (or children) to complete that week.
- Cover topics that your child will be doing at school that term.
- Help ensure your child understands and feels confident in ALL the skills they’re expected to master that term, including learning high-frequency spellings, improving reading skills and getting to grips with new maths concepts.
There will also be a recommendation for a science worksheet to download, if you also want to follow the Science Learning Journey.
Most parents choose to follow our emailed recommendation of two worksheets to cover each week with their child.
But if you'd prefer a more flexible approach and would rather pick and choose the worksheets you think are most relevant for your child, just visit the specific Learning Journey for your child's school year, in English, maths or science, and then browse through all the worksheets to see which topics you want to focus on each time.
You can find out more about how the Learning Journey works here or by watching this video:
Some key things to remember are:
- Make sure you have tailored the Learning Journey to your children’s school year. You can do this by clicking on the 'My account' link (in the top green bar) and then adding your children's school years.
- There are some great reward charts and certificates for you to print off and use to motivate your child to stick to the programme.
- We also have separate Learning Journeys for Times Tables, Fractions, KS1 SATs, KS2 SATs and Handwriting. Just hover over Learning Journey in the top menu to see them all.
Find resources quickly and easily
There are a number of ways to find specific resources on the site.
1. Using the top menu, hover over Subject, School Year or Topics to see the drop-down menu. You can then navigate to the school year, Key Stage, specific subject or topic you are looking for.
So, for example, if you want to find out what your child is learning in KS1 maths, click on Subject > Key Stage 1 Maths. You'll then find all the relevant articles, worksheets, learning packs and links to the Learning Journey programme.
You'll then be able to search for resources to support their learning. You can do this by clicking on School Year or Subject in the top menu bar, or by using the search box in the right-hand column.
2. If there is a specific area you know you want to target, use our worksheet finder tool, which you'll find in the Subscribers' area of the site, to quickly find worksheets to get your child started.
You can filter by school year, subject and category, so you're sure to find the perfect worksheet at the right level for your child.
3. Alternatively, just type your search term into the search box in the right-hand column of the site for a complete list of all our related resources.
Check out our interactive tutorials
In each tutorial, our teacher will explain the method, show you examples and then give you a chance to practise what you've learned. Find out more here or watch the video:
Start adding resources to your saved resources
Want to keep track of resources your child has completed? As you are exploring the site, if you see a worksheet or tutorial you want your child to complete, you can add them to your saved resources. Then, in the saved resources area of the site, you can assign a resource to a child and mark it as completed. You can also add a complete Learning Journey programme to your saved resources, assign it to a child and then track their progress through the programme.
