School subscription

Congratulations on your purchase of a school subscription to TheSchoolRun.

The site was created primarily to help parents support their child's learning at home, but you are one of a growing number of schools and tutoring organisations that are finding our teacher-created resources complement your lesson plans and classroom activities, as well as offering ideas for home learning.

Here's what you need to do next.

Getting started

If you aren't already logged in, you can now do so in the top right-hand corner of this page. If you have any problems logging in, please email [email protected]. (Please note that login details are for teacher-use only and must not be shared with parents.)

If you are not familiar with the site, start by watching our introductory video.

Explore the learning packs and workbooks

Head over to the Subscribers' area of the site and start browsing through our topic-specific learning packs and workbooks.

These targeted packs cover specific and core skills that children need to master during their primary school years. Each pack is over 50 pages long and includes information as well as colourful and engaging practical activities and games to help children grasp every aspect of a tricky subject.

Are you interested in a targeted learning programme for your class?

We have structured learning programmes for every year of primary school, which cover all the key areas of learning in maths, English and science.

As well as using interactive and printable worksheets from the programme in the classroom to complement your existing lesson plans, remember you can print out as many worksheets as you like for home learning.

You can find out more about how the Learning Journey works here or by watching this video:

We also have separate Learning Journeys for Times Tables, Fractions, KS1 SATs, KS2 SATs, Handwriting, Phonics, Telling the time, Spelling, and 11+. Just hover over Learning Journey in the top navigational menu and click on the required link.

Find resources quickly and easily

There are a number of ways to find specific resources on the site:

1. Using the top menu, hover over Subject, School Year or Topics to see the drop-down menu. You can then navigate to the school year, Key Stage, specific subject or topic you are looking for.

So, for example, if you want to find resources for KS1 maths, click on Subject > Key Stage 1 Maths. You'll then find all the relevant articles, worksheets, learning packs and links to the Learning Journey programme.

2. If there is a specific area you know you want to target, use our worksheet finder tool, which you'll find in the Subscribers' area of the site, to quickly find the worksheets you need.

You can filter by school year, subject and category, so you're sure to find the perfect worksheet at the right level.

3. Alternatively, just type your search term into the search box in the right-hand column of the site for a complete list of all our related resources.

Check out our interactive tutorials

In each tutorial, our digital teacher will explain the method, work through examples and then give children the chance to practise what they've learned.  Find out more about TheSchoolRun tutorials here or watch the video:

Discover our glossaries

TheSchoolRun's primary-school glossaries present core maths, English, grammar and science terms in plain English, with examples, teachers' tips and step-by-step explanations.

Next time you are asking parents to support learning in a particular area, why not direct them to the glossary to ensure they fully understand how the topic is now taught in the school and the level their child should be aiming for?
