Understanding light reflection: Build your own periscope
Mirrors change the direction of light and reflect it. We can demonstrate this practically by making a periscope. Light is reflected from one object into a mirror and then onto the other mirror before reaching your eyes. Collect your materials and find out for yourself!

Food webs
When we look at habitats we often look at food chains to see the feeding relationships within them. Sometimes, though, more than one animal feeds off others. This is when we make food webs. Look at these cards. Can you cut them out and arrange them on the table with the arrows to show which animals feed off each other?

Remember to make sure all the bars are the same width and that there are gaps of the same width between each bar. Think about the width of each bar before you start drawing, putting pencil markings down for the first bar.
Comparing and ordering angles smaller than 180 degrees
Cut up these angles and group all the acute angles together and then all the obtuse angles together. Can you order the angles in each group by size? Remember: Angles smaller than 90o are acute. Angles larger than 90o are obtuse.

Rounding to the nearest 100
When rounding a 3-digit number to the nearest 100 you need to look at the tens number. If it is lower than 50, the number is rounded down to the nearest hundred number. If it is 50 or higher, the number is rounded up to the nearest hundred number. Can you write what these numbers are, rounded to the nearest 100?
